CPC Kent welcomes all relevant work placements whether they are for a short period of time i.e. school work experience OR for a longer period of time i.e. a college or university work placement.  Whatever your needs please do not hesitate to contact CPC Kent in order to fulfil your placement, as we will welcome the assistance in a bid to help you which in turn helps us!  The types of experiences that CPC Kent can offer are:

Administration

Reception duties including:

• meeting and greeting visitors
• answering the telephone including taking and relaying messages

General office duties including:

• typing such as e-mails, memos, letters and reports
• faxing
• photocopying
• filing

Fundraising
Assisting the fundraising office with tasks such as general office duties, co-ordinating events, fundraising ideas, newsletters, mail shots and the like.

Smiley Steps
Observation of the children receiving Conductive Education, assistance with setting up and packing away of equipment, assistance in keeping a sterile environment, assistance with lesson planning and the like.

Life Skills & Day Centre
Provide support for the groups such as setting up or packing away of equipment, one to one assistance, helping with arts and crafts, refreshments, lunches and the like.

 General Placement
This placement consists of spending time in each area of the Charity and therefore gaining experience in all of the above, plus more.
